Opportunity to find out more about proposed A303 Sparkford to Ilchester upgrade

National Highways will be taking its engagement van out and about later this month so staff can talk to people about the latest plans for upgrading the A303 between Sparkford and Ilchester.

There will be information about the planned next steps for the project and the chance to ask questions about the scheme.

The van will be at:

  • Haynes Motor Museum (Sparkford, Yeovil BA22 7LH) on Tuesday, March 28, from 12 noon – 4pm
  • Teals Farm Shop (1 Orchard Lane, South Cadbury, Yeovil BA22 7FS) on Wednesday, March 29 and Thursday, March 30, from 9am – 5pm
  • Haynes Motor Museum (Sparkford, Yeovil BA22 7LH) on Friday, March 31, from 9am – 1pm

Staff will explain about the work done so far, the next phase of the project, how they plan to approach it and the impact it will have on people using the road.

A spokesman for National Highways said staff would not be able to give dates for road closures as they had yet to be confirmed. However, members of the traffic management team would be available on Wednesday afternoon (March 29) and Thursday morning (March 30).
