Taunton law firm Clarke Willmott LLP has announced a new partnership deal with Somerset County Cricket Club, which now includes support for the Club’s first ever professional women’s team.
Having provided the club with legal advice for over 30 years, the firm will remain as one of Somerset’s Preferred Legal Partners for 2025.
It has also been announced that Clarke Willmott will individually sponsor players Sophie Luff and Migael Pretorius. Additionally, the firm will act as match sponsors for Somerset Men and Women and remain as valued Members of the 1875 Club.
Regarding the extension of this important partnership, SCCC Commercial Director, Caroline Herbert said: “We are delighted to be working with Clarke Willmott again in 2025.
“This year is a momentous one for Somerset CCC as it marks our 150th anniversary. When you add the introduction of Somerset Women into the mix alongside the impressive performances of Somerset Men in recent years, it promises to be an incredible 12 months, and we are delighted that Clarke Willmott will be a part of that journey.”
Kirill Bingham, partner and head of Clarke Willmott’s Taunton office, said: “We are extremely proud to continue our long-standing support of Somerset County Cricket Club and to continue to be one of their preferred Legal Partners for 2025.
“It is a privilege to also support the Club’s first ever Women’s team and we’re looking forward to again cheering on the teams this year. The Club continues to go from strength to strength and we are proud to be able to continue our partnership and offer the support we can.”
