Porter Dodson has announced the appointment of three new Partners across its Private Client and Commercial Property teams, further strengthening the firm’s expertise and continued growth across the Southwest.
Victoria Emmett has joined the firm as a Partner in the Private Client team, based in the Taunton office. She brings with her over 15 years’ experience advising clients across the region. 
Victoria specialises in a broad range of private client matters, including estate planning, tax planning, trusts and wills, as well as estate administration. She works with a wide range of clients, including private individuals, farmers, business owners and high net worth individuals, providing support with both lifetime planning and post-death matters.
Salma Maqsood joins Porter Dodson as a Partner in the Commercial Property team, bringing extensive experience in commercial real estate.
Salma specialises in development finance, bridging, portfolio refinance, Islamic finance backed transactions and Commercial Landlord and Tenant matters.
She works with developers, investors, funders, landlords, tenants and business owners, supporting them through all stages of their real estate projects, from acquisition and funding through to development and leasing.
Joining as a Partner, Frances Griffiths also joins the firm, working primarily within Commercial Property as well as supporting Residential Property, focusing on purchase and sale of rural properties with commercial and agricultural ties, as well as advising farmers, landowners and landed estates on a range of rural property matters.
Frances also deals with secured lending on rural properties, the grant of Farm Business Tenancies and the sale and purchase of rural properties. She brings a wealth of experience in the sector and is well regarded for her expertise in rural and agricultural property matters.
