Cleanroom specialist Total Clean Air (TCA) has launched Rent a Cleanroom after achieving approximately 30% year-on-year growth and expanding its team to 26 employees.
A company spokesperson said strong early demand for the new rental proposition is supporting further recruitment and investment plans throughout 2026.
Founded in 2018, Total Clean Air serves customers across the UK and internationally and continues to invest in people, products and facilities from its headquarters in Street, Somerset.
The business currently employs 26 people across sales, engineering, manufacturing, validation, project delivery and support functions and has recently strengthened its sales team as demand continues to grow.
Developed to support businesses that need speed, flexibility and affordability, Rent a Cleanroom provides access to validated cleanroom facilities without the significant upfront investment and lengthy implementation timescales traditionally associated with cleanroom projects.
The proposition has been created to help start-ups, innovators, growing manufacturers and project teams access compliant cleanroom capacity quickly and cost-effectively.
Every rental is fully supported by Total Clean Air’s team. Phillip Godden (pictured), CEO of Total Clean Air, said: “Rent a Cleanroom has been developed to make compliant cleanroom facilities more accessible.
“By combining flexibility, speed and affordability with the expertise of Total Clean Air, we’re helping organisations access the environments they need without the significant upfront investment traditionally associated with cleanroom projects.
“It’s a practical solution for businesses looking to innovate, grow or respond quickly to changing operational requirements without compromising compliance or quality.”
Godden added: “The response to Rent a Cleanroom has been extremely encouraging. We’ve already secured and delivered rental orders, generated strong levels of enquiry and are now building our first Series 2 rental system to meet customer demand.
“Our ambition is to establish Rent a Cleanroom as the UK’s leading cleanroom rental provider while continuing to create opportunities for growth and investment from our Somerset base.”
Available options include inflatable cleanrooms, modular cleanroom systems and larger portable controlled environments, allowing organisations to select a solution that matches their operational requirements, project timescales and budget.
The launch forms part of Total Clean Air’s wider growth strategy as the company continues to invest in its Somerset operations and expand its presence across the UK cleanroom market.
