An exciting opportunity has arisen to join our Board of Directors. The Board works to ensure that the Chamber is run effectively by providing leadership, governance, oversight and assurance.
The Board is elected by our members at our AGM, at which point they serve as non-executive Directors on a non-remunerated basis for an initial three-year term. Applicants must be employed by or are an owner/operator of a Chamber member.
Additionally, they should have relevant and appropriate experience to bring to this important role, as well as a commitment to the future success of Somerset Chamber of Commerce and its membership. 
After serving for three years, outgoing Board members have a chance to seek re-election.

Our AGM will be held on Thursday, November 20, from 5.30pm to 7pm in The Atrium at Albert Goodman on Blackbrook Business Park in Taunton. There is no charge to attend, but places must be booked in advance here.
