WPA was last week announced as the UK’s only Which? Recommended Provider for private medical insurance, achieving a leading score of 86%, 6% ahead of its nearest competitor where the average score for all was 77%.
The recognition marks WPA’s return to the coveted Which? Recommended Provider title and follows four consecutive years where WPA has led the Which? scoring for private medical insurance.
Which? only endorses the best products and services. Recommended Provider status is reserved for companies rated highly by Which? members who have a medical insurance policy.
WPA’s performance also reinforces its strong independent customer credentials, alongside recognition from Trustpilot and Fairer Finance.
Mark Southern (pictured), WPA’s Distribution and Marketing Director, said: “WPA is thrilled to yet again be named the Which? Recommended Provider for Private Medical Insurance. This prestigious recognition by the UK’s leading consumer champion underscores our unwavering commitment to delivering exceptional customer service – an honour that would not be possible without the team’s hard work and dedication.”
Matthew Jenkin, Senior Journalist, of Which? Money said: “WPA topped our private health insurance customer satisfaction table, with customers praising how easy it is to contact the provider and the speedy reply, so we’ve named WPA as the Which? Recommended Provider for health insurance for 2026.”
WPA is the only Which? Recommended Provider of medical insurance alongside other companies Aviva, AXA, BUPA, SAGA, Vitality and Westfield Health, underlining its exceptional pedigree, credentials and continued focus on customer outcomes.
