Staff at Brown & Brown UK raised almost £8,500 for their charity partner Mosaic – Supporting Bereaved Children by taking part in the firm’s marathon and half marathon charity hikes. 
Alan Clarke, Managing Director, of Brown & Brown South West, said he was incredible proud of the team: “The hike was our biggest challenge yet along the stunning Dorset coastline, raising funds for our charity partner Mosaic – Supporting Bereaved Children.”
Both routes actually ended up slightly longer than planned, but the extra effort paid off with a huge cash boost for the charity.
Brown & Brown UK thanked Cumulus Outdoor Events Ltd for supporting the day, included water stops, a campsite and wood fired pizza experience.
A company spokesperson also thanked everyone who supported the event and made a positive difference to the young people helped by the charity.
Alan added: “I definitely need to improve on my navigating skills for the next challenge to avoid needlessly adding more distance. I can’t speak for everyone else but the drive home and walk to my front door might have been one of the hardest parts of my day!”
