WPA celebrates triple success at South West Contact Centre Awards

Somerset-based health insurer WPA is celebrating a remarkable triple success at the South West Contact Centre Awards 2026, after its customer help desks were named Contact Centre of the Year and Best Contact Centre Culture, while Ellie Bentley was recognised as best Customer Service Agent of the Year.

The awards, held in Bristol on Thursday, June 18, celebrated excellence across the South West’s contact centre industry and recognised outstanding performance, innovation, leadership and commitment to customer service.

The company said the wins reflected WPA’s long-standing customer service credentials and the care, professionalism and dedication shown every day by colleagues supporting customers.

Zoe Burne, General Manager of WPA’s Customer Help Desk Team, said: “We are incredibly proud to have been recognised with three awards at this year’s South West Contact Centre Awards.

“These achievements are a powerful reflection of the care, commitment and professionalism that the team bring to every customer interaction. Our culture is built on creating an environment where colleagues feel supported, valued and empowered to deliver their best.  At WPA, service is not just a function; it is central to who we are.

“Our teams are obsessed with doing the right thing for customers and treating others as we would want to be treated ourselves. To see that culture recognised externally is a wonderful moment for everyone involved.”

The Contact Centre of the Year and Best Contact Centre Culture awards recognise the collective strength of WPA’s Customer Help Desks and the wider business culture that enables colleagues to deliver a positive experience for customers.

Ellie Bentley’s (pictured left) Customer Service Agent of the Year award further highlights the individual excellence, empathy and commitment found across WPA’s teams.
