Students are celebrating outstanding success across A Levels, T Levels, and technical/professional courses, with high grades, exceptional pass rates, and inspirational individual achievements.
A Level students delivered an exceptional performance this year, achieving above the national average. Impressively, 23 subjects achieved a 100% pass rate, demonstrating the consistently high standards across the curriculum.
Many students secured places at leading universities including the University of Bristol, University of Exeter and Cardiff University, while others secured highly competitive apprenticeships and employment, from degree apprenticeships with a Bristol solicitors’ firm to roles in digital and technology solutions with Babcock.
This year’s high fliers included:
Liz Nuttall, Assistant Principal for A Levels at Bridgwater College, said, “I’m absolutely delighted with this year’s A Level results. To see high grades achieved is a testament to the hard work, resilience, and ambition of our students.
“They have shown real dedication to their studies and embraced every opportunity available to them. I couldn’t be prouder of what they’ve achieved, and I’m excited to see the incredible futures they are now stepping into.”
T Level students have also did well, with early years, construction design, surveying and planning, accounting, light vehicle and software development securing a 100% pass rate. Construction – design, surveying and planning was a standout success, with 64% of students achieving a distinction.
On completion of their T Levels, many students are stepping directly into careers with local and national employers, taking on roles in areas such as engineering, healthcare, education, and digital technologies.
Others have secured places on degree courses at universities across the UK, while a number are progressing to higher-level apprenticeships, combining professional training with paid work.
