Bridgwater & Taunton College (BTC) T Level education and early years students in their second year of study welcomed back children from nurseries Mama Bears and Kingwood Children.
The students work as a professional team, planning and leading the sessions with a wide-range of engaging activities that are delivered to the young children attending these excellent settings.
Activities ranged from arts and crafts to a make-believe doctor’s surgery, all revolving around a central theme of nursery rhymes.
The children from Mama Bears, Taunton, and Kingwood Children, Uffculme, had a fantastic time, and feedback from nursery staff to students has been incredibly useful to their personal and academic development.
After another year of great results, the T Level course continues to innovate and provide fantastic work placement opportunities and training in real-world environments. This continues the trend of T Levels offering a transformative educational experience to ready students for varied career paths in their future – whether primary teaching, nursery settings or many more.
Kay Davey, Course Leader, said: “It was simply a delight to see our students engaging and interacting with such a lovely group of children, demonstrating how far their skills have developed over the course of a year.
“The relaxing and playful environment have made such a lasting impression, and I’m proud of my students for creating such an incredible environment for these young ones – a testament to the strength of what our T Level provision offers young learners.
“A huge thank you to the children and staff of both Mama Bears and Kingwood Children for their participation, and we look forward to welcoming you back in the future!”
