Andy Berry, Principal and CEO of Bridgwater & Taunton College (BTC) has been awarded the Commander of the Order of the British Empire (CBE) for his outstanding contributions to further education.
A spokesperson for the college said the investiture, held at Buckingham Palace, was a momentous occasion, celebrating Mr Berry’s significant impact on the education sector both locally and nationally. 
They said his strategic leadership at BTC had been instrumental in driving innovations in teaching, learning, and community engagement, significantly enhancing the college’s role in supporting regional growth and economic development.
“Receiving this honour is a testament to the collective effort and dedication of the entire BTC community,” said Mr Berry. “This recognition reinforces our commitment to delivering exceptional education and training that meets the needs of today’s industries and prepares students for successful careers.”
