Walker Family Law have been focusing on strengthening their support team and are proud to say they are going into 2025 with a continuously growing team. 2024 was a great year for Walker Family Law, and they aim to keep up the pace throughout 2025.
Sadie Pengilly, Lisa Mutch and Chantelle Luker have all joined the team as senior legal secretaries. They work closely with both teams at the firm. Ruth Robson and Elizabeth Harris have joined the team as legal secretaries and help to assist the client services team with incoming calls and queries from existing and potential clients. Khendra Porter and Sarah Ingham have joined the team this month.
Sarah as a support assistant solely working within the client services team and Khendra as the client services and compliance manager. Between them they will ensure that clients are provided with the best possible service and assist with the day-to-day operation of client cases. Finally Sue Ellingham is joining the team as the head of learning and development. She will work closely with the head of each team to oversee the development of employees and the company as a whole.
Walker Family Law are also thrilled to have welcomed Lucy Roberts back from maternity leave. Lucy is a valued member of the team, working as a senior associate solicitor and their main specialist in ICACU (the International Child Abduction and Contact Unit). She has practised as a solicitor solely in family law since she qualified in 2012 and brings an extensive amount of knowledge and expertise to the Walker Family Law team and their clients.
Two of Walker Family Law’s valued paralegals will shortly be making the move to becoming trainee solicitors. As Sophie Jenkins and Max Harding embark on the next step in their legal career, they will be moving across both teams to expand their knowledge. Walker Family Law are excited for Sophie and Max to excel and eventually qualify as the great solicitors that they are more than capable of becoming.
