Taunton School and Taunton School International have been selected out of thousands of the best Secondary Schools in Europe in the 2023 StudyTravel Secondary School Awards for the second year in a row.
The notable awards recognise excellence in service by educators in the burgeoning high school study abroad sector.
Taunton School is only one of two UK schools to reach the finals of the European category, with the other finalists from France, Austria and Switzerland.
Taunton School is one of the South West’s leading co-educational independent schools and is home to students from more than 50 different countries. Taunton was the first school in the UK to open an international school on site back in 1996, but its tradition of welcoming students from abroad dates back more than 100 years.
Taunton has been an IB World School since 2007 and is one of the only schools in the country to offer four alternative Sixth Form pathways to higher education: the IB Diploma, A-levels, Level 3 BTEC Diplomas in business and in sport and exercise, as well as bespoke Pre-Foundation and Foundation courses in business specifically designed for international students.
The winners will be announced at a gala dinner on April 21, 2023 in London.
