Summerfield Homes has handed over a new set of electric gates to Knights Templar Community Church School in Watchet.
The recently completed project is a part of their ongoing efforts to support the local community while progressing on the nearby Liddymore Park development.
The newly upgraded gates have been strategically relocated closer to the school grounds and will enhance the safety and security of the students and staff. This project follows the successful addition of a 16-space car park, provided by Summerfield Homes at no cost to the school in 2022.
Handing over the gates, Summerfield Homes Projects Manager, Mark Woodland, said: “We would like to thank Laura and the team at Knights Templar for being so accommodating during the ongoing construction of Liddymore Park. It’s great to give back to our local community and provide valuable resources that benefit the school daily.”
Thanking Summerfield Homes, Headteacher Laura Weaver said: “The new school gates will greatly improve the overall security of the school. It has been a pleasure to work with Mark and Summerfield Homes on this project and we are grateful to them for being so adaptable throughout the process.”
