Somerset PR agency Morledge & Co has celebrated its third business birthday in style with the support of many local businesses and producers.
Hosted at The Exchange in Taunton, Morledge & Co invited former BBC radio presenter Emma Britton to be the guest speaker at the event, which also saw a range of local producers showcasing and selling their wares.
“Reaching our third birthday is a milestone I wanted to celebrate with my team and clients at Morledge & Co and what better occasion to do so than on Somerset Day, as we specialise in supporting Somerset-based businesses,” said Karen Morledge, founder and Director of Morledge & Co
Emma Britton, who is now a celebrant, said: “I was delighted to be asked to be the guest speaker at the event to celebrate Morledge & Co’s third business birthday. It was great to have a captive audience of Somerset lovers; many of whom were Morledge & Co clients!”
Morledge & Co was founded in April 2019 and specialises in property, housing and tourism marketing and PR, although boasts a very diverse client base throughout the South West including Summerfield Developments, Weston Business Improvement District (BID), Minehead BID and Nuffield Health Taunton Hospital as well as SMEs in various sectors. The five-strong team at the agency, led by Karen Morledge, saw its biggest growth with a six-figure turnover.
“We really have grown from strength to strength as an agency over the past three years, and the sky’s the limit for where we go from here, and it’s an absolute pleasure to be able to support a wonderful range of businesses with the strategic marketing and public relations, particularly in Somerset where I live and love,” Karen said.
