A team of volunteers from Somerset Passenger Solutions (SPS) has stepped in to repair and restore a local charity garden after it was badly vandalised.
Volunteers from SPS, arrived early with tools, plants and a team of six employees ready to bring the garden at Brainwave back to life. The sensory garden is an important space for the children and families that the charity support.
The team worked hard by donating and planting over 100 flowers, painting fences, and carrying out various gardening tasks.
Abigail Porter of SPS said: “It was a fulfilling experience to contribute our time and efforts to this cause, knowing how important the garden is as an additional resource for the families who benefit from Brainwave’s work.”
A spokesperson for Brainwave said the charity was very grateful: “A big thank you to Somerset Passenger Solutions for volunteering in our Brainwave Garden! Your hard work has transformed the space, creating an environment for our Brainwave families to enjoy. We’re so grateful for your support and generosity!”

A spokesperson at SPS added: “At SPS, giving back is at the heart of what we do. We’re dedicated to making a difference. And this is just the beginning as we look to support more community initiatives this year.”
