Somerset Film and fellow supporters of Bridgwater Together are inviting people to attend a new culture café in the town.
The café will offer a place to chat, connect and celebrate diversity over a free cup of coffee at Somerset Film’s base, The Engine Room, in Bridgwater.
Since 2015, volunteers and organisations have come together to celebrate the town’s diverse communities through an event held called Bridgwater Together.
To build on the success of the event, organisers are launching a culture café for people from all ethnicities to come together, make connections and chat in a more informal way.
The cafe will take place roughly every other month in the run-up to the annual event at Bridgwater Town Hall, with the first one at The Engine Room on Sunday, April 23, from 2pm – 4pm.
Future dates for the 2023 diary are May 21, August 20 and October 15.
