Dorset and Somerset Air Ambulance’s 5K Twilight Shift returns for its fourth year to Henstridge Airfield on July 5, 2025.
Participants will run, jog or walk the 5k distance around the operational base for the charity’s lifesaving critical care team. People can enter as an individual, a family, or a group, take part as a serious runner, or simply use it to have fun and exercise on what will hopefully be a beautiful late afternoon in July. 
Businesses or groups can also use the event as an opportunity for team building or in-house competitions with friends and colleagues.
The first 100 adults who enter will receive a free t-shirt, and the charity hopes that anyone who is fortunate to gain a place will use the opportunity to raise a minimum of £50 in sponsorship. There are only 500 places available.

It’s a very special event with a chance to come together and raise funds for such an incredible cause. This year is even extra special, as we are also celebrating our 25th anniversary.
“Our 5K Twilight Shift is a fun event that the whole family can enjoy, any age, any ability. Whether you walk, run or jog, you will be supporting our life-saving service. We hope to see you there. Join us to mark 25 years of saving lives!”
People can register online by visiting www.dsairambulance.org.uk/twilight. Entrance fees are £15 for adults and £10 for under 16s. Children under the age of 16 must be accompanied by an adult.
