Roots of Netitude: embedded in Frome business since 2001

Promotional blog in partnership with Netitude. To find out more about promotional blogs, please email marketing@somerset-chamber.co.uk.

We’re proud to be deeply rooted in Frome, the community we’ve called home since 2001, when Adam Harling (Founder and Managing Director) launched Netitude as a one-man operation with a mission to help businesses achieve Growth Through Technology.

Over two decades later, our journey has been one of continuous growth – expanding our client base, team, and expertise year-on-year. Today, Netitude stands as a forward-thinking, dynamic Managed Service Provider (MSP) with industry-leading knowledge and a clear focus: empowering businesses through the right technology, at the right time.

What sets us apart? Our people. The team behind the iconic Netitude “N” are more than IT experts – they’re problem-solvers, strategists, and trusted partners who put client success at the heart of everything they do.

How we work: a proactive, not reactive approach to IT

The MSP world is crowded, but our approach is different. Too many providers operate reactively – fixing issues only after they disrupt operations. At Netitude, we believe in prevention over cure.

We address the root causes of IT problems before they happen, safeguarding business continuity. Every client we onboard is assigned a dedicated Virtual IT Director – a strategic partner responsible for ensuring their IT works seamlessly, from a new starter’s laptop to the head office’s server infrastructure.

Our services are built around flexibility and depth, with packages tailored to suit different needs:

• Evolution: Fully managed IT support
• Evolution Plus: Adds advanced security, including Cyber Essentials Plus support
• Evolution Enterprise: Includes compliance support for frameworks like ISO 27001
• Co-Managed IT: Partnering with in-house IT teams to enhance performance and efficiency

Delivering value in challenging times

Today’s economic climate puts unprecedented pressure on small and medium-sized businesses (SMBs). Rising costs and socio-economic challenges mean every operational decision matters.

Our work is underpinned by strategic technology consultancy, which helps business leaders make informed IT choices that reduce costs, improve efficiency, and unlock growth.

It all starts with our technology audit – a comprehensive “IT health check” carried out by our Technical Services Team. This process identifies risks, inefficiencies, and opportunities for improvement, giving decision-makers a clear, actionable roadmap for change.

Example: avoiding the high cost of downtime

According to Siemens, downtime can cost SMBs up to $150,000 (£110,475) per hour. Critical system failures, cyberattacks, or hardware breakdowns can be devastating – especially for organisations that depend on strict timelines or supply chain precision.

Our audits highlight vulnerabilities before they escalate. We then deliver clear, prioritised recommendations to prevent outages, protect revenue, and maintain operational flow – ensuring businesses stay resilient in the face of disruption.

Does your IT serve your business – or hold it back?

If your business struggles to keep up with the demands of a digital-first world, you’re not alone. Whether you need to achieve ISO 27001 accreditation, strengthen your cybersecurity posture, or simply modernise outdated systems, we provide the expertise to make it happen.

Our continuous improvement process goes beyond one-off fixes. We create a technology roadmap that aligns with your business goals, then work alongside you to implement changes that deliver measurable results. And our support doesn’t stop when the project is done – we keep evolving your IT environment to meet new challenges and opportunities.

The Netitude commitment

For us, it’s simple: put the right technology in the right place, at the right time. That principle guides how we serve clients, support our people, and contribute to our community.

As we look ahead to the Meet the Neighbours event on Thursday (September 11), we’re excited to share our story, connect with new businesses, and explore how technology can help organisations not just survive, but thrive – even in uncertain times.

Because at Netitude, we’re not just here to fix IT problems. We’re here to help businesses achieve their ambitions through technology that works as hard as they do.
