Local Bridgwater company has given all employees a £250 extra payment to help with rising costs this winter.
Nick Bell, Managing Director of the RK Bell Group (www.rkbell.com), said that directors had discussed how the company could best help their employees during the current cost-of-living crisis.
Nick Bell, said: “Despite the current uncertainty in our industry, I am pleased to say that the directors and I have given our employees a £250 cost of living supplement. The hope is that this will go some way in helping to decrease the impact of the current cost of living crisis.
“The positive feedback that we have received from our staff has shown us that it has meant a lot to them.”
One of the RK Bell employees said: “It was a genuine and thoughtful gesture and very much appreciated, especially at this time.”
Along with the cheque employees were also given a RK Bell branded hat and gloves set.
RK Bell Group is a family-owned business operating in the construction sector and have been trading in Bridgwater since 1941. They offer construction plant hire as well as surfacing, civil engineering, and groundwork services to clients throughout the south west. They employ 55 local people and are based in Dunwear, Bridgwater.
