Independent communications consultancy Morledge & Co. has secured three new client appointments, reflecting both the strength of Somerset’s economy and the agency’s reputation for results-driven PR.
The agency has been retained by Aldwick Estate, a fifth-generation family business near Bristol that has become one of the South West’s most distinctive vineyard wedding and events venues.
Morledge & Co. will lead marketing and PR activity to grow visibility across its three core areas: elegant, exclusive weddings; premium corporate retreats and events; and immersive vineyard tours that bring English wine to life.
Sandy Luck, Managing Director of Aldwick Estate, said: “Working with Morledge & Co. means we benefit from their strategic expertise and creative approach, ensuring our story is told in the right way, to the right people, with real impact.”
In Somerset’s advanced manufacturing sector, Morledge & Co. has been appointed by Total Clean Air, a Street-based cleanroom specialist serving global pharmaceutical and high-tech clients. The campaign will position the business as a leader in contamination control while raising awareness of Somerset’s role in pioneering technology.
Meanwhile, Weston-super-Mare-based DHA Firestopping has appointed the agency to run a local PR and social media campaign for the 42nd Weston Beach Race, working in partnership with RHL Activities and supporting visibility within its community.
These new contracts follow Morledge & Co.’s high-profile work with Needles & Pins Aerospace in Somerton. Working closely with Boeing Defence UK and industry partners, the consultancy managed communications around the company’s expansion, securing coverage on BBC Points West and a live interview on BBC Radio Somerset. The project shone a national spotlight on Somerset’s aerospace capability and employment growth.
Founder Karen Morledge (pictured), who is also a Board member of the Somerset Chamber of Commerce, said: “These client wins reflect the breadth of Somerset enterprise – from vineyards and visitor destinations to world-class manufacturers and specialist contractors.
“Our role is to help them tell their stories in ways that inspire confidence, attract talent and investment, and give Somerset businesses the platform they deserve.”
