Orchid Communications Limited (ORCHID) has appointed three key personnel to its Bristol office. Vicki Edwards and Steph Brown have joined the company as Account Directors, and Kevin Hamersley has been appointed as a Web Developer.
ORCHID is an independent and award-winning full service creative communications agency headquartered in Jersey, Channel Islands. In March, the company moved from its Somerset base in Frome to a larger office in central Bristol.
Both the move and the senior appointments mark an exciting time of growth for company, which aims to further increase its headcount over the next 12 months as new clients are acquired.
Founded in Jersey by Sam Watts, a highly experienced marketing communications professional, the company has grown from offering solely PR services to Channel Island clients into a full-service communication and brand agency.
It delivers PR, communications, media relations, content creation, web development, SEO and PPC for SMEs and public and charitable organisations across a broad range of sectors in the South West. This month, ORCHID celebrates its 18th birthday.
The business is now co-owned by Sam and her husband Allan, an experienced senior broadcast journalist, both who have close ties in the South West and a love for the bustling, vibrant scene of Bristol. The move to One Temple Quay, near Temple Meads, is a strategic move for the business as it pursues its ambitious growth plans.
Vicki and Steph, both experienced PR and Communications officers, have been brought into the business to service the company’s growing roster of UK clients and to provide additional senior support for clients based in Jersey and Guernsey. Kevin adds in-depth skill and more than 12 years of experience in web development to the company’s digital arm.
