Open mic event in aid of educational charity

ESS Education and Support Services charity hosted a lively and fun-filled open mic event at its Community Hub and Café.

The event featured talented local performers, who provided live entertainment throughout the evening. From soulful singers to energetic guitarists, the audience was treated to a diverse range of performances that kept everyone engaged. In addition to the music, the family event also included a bouncy castle and face-painting.

The community came out in full force to show their support. A raffle, featuring prizes donated by local businesses, was one of the highlights of the day. Lucky winners took home a variety of gifts, including vouchers, baskets, jewellery, wine and a cuddly toy.

Volunteers worked tirelessly to ensure the evening success, selling raffle tickets, preparing hog rolls and a variety of puds.

Spokesperson for the charity thanked The Halfway House, Pitney Farm, staff and volunteers as well everyone who supported the event on the day.

All money raised which will go towards the charity’s core costs of delivering educational workshops, groups and activities within the Community Hub and Café.
