Technical and engineering recruitment experts NRL are celebrating being announced as a finalist for Best Large Recruitment Business at The Global Recruiter UK Awards 2023.
The award nomination follows a dual shortlist for this year’s Recruiter Awards, making it a hat trick for the business.
Reviewed by an experienced panel of judges, NRL’s submission described their business culture and values that have continued to steer them for four decades, as well as how regional branches and international teams place growing importance on working with clients to develop corporate social responsibility initiatives such as local school outreach and championing equality, diversity and inclusion.
The Best Large Recruitment Business category looks for organisations which can demonstrate excellent service to clients and candidates, an in-depth industry knowledge and all-round strong performance, including the positive impact they make to the people they support.
In recent years, NRL’s initiatives have included earning the Inclusive+ Recruiter certification from the Association of Professional Staffing Companies (APSCo), as well as organising training for colleagues to become mental health first aiders and signing up to become a Living Wage Foundation member.
NRL Group CEO, David Redmayne, said: “It’s fantastic to be recognised as one of the best large recruitment businesses and reach the final of this year’s Global Recruiter UK Awards – which celebrates the high standards of service and innovation taking place within the recruitment industry.
“We’re delighted that judges recognised our steadfast approach to our business culture and strategy, and how our teams are working together to support the current and future needs of our clients – from driving diversity and inclusion to supporting the energy transition.
“News of our shortlist came on the same day we celebrated our 40 year anniversary, so it’s a real testament to the recruitment solutions our branches are delivering to our clients and the trust our candidates place in us to find them rewarding work.”
In total 17 categories were judged this year, to draw up the shortlist of finalists, representing the best in the industry.
The winners of each category will be formally announced on November 14.
