NRL Group becomes a Living Wage Employer

Engineering recruitment and contracting specialist the NRL Group has been accredited as a Living Wage Employer.

Signing up as members of the Living Wage Foundation demonstrates a continued commitment to deliver on company values of integrity and accountability. Matching the higher real living wage, which is set by the foundation each year, the move will ensure colleagues receive a fair salary to comfortably manage from day to day.

Since launching the Living Wage Foundation almost 9,000 small, medium and large businesses have voluntarily signed up as members. Keen to ensure they can support the welfare of their colleagues both inside and outside of the workplace. Organisations who join, also pledge to advocate the foundation through their business network, raising awareness of their campaign for fair pay and encouraging other businesses to seek accreditation.

After gaining the accreditation Katherine Chapman, Director of the Living Wage Foundation, said: “We’re delighted that the NRL Group has joined the movement of almost 9,000 responsible employers across the UK who voluntarily commit to go further than the government minimum to make sure all their staff earn enough to live on.”

The NRL Group’s CEO, David Redmayne, said: “We’re delighted to have been accredited as a Living Wage Employer. By signing up to this voluntary scheme, we’re able to ensure we can continue to provide our colleagues with a wage that can more realistically take care of the needs of their family and home, as well as being representative of the value we associate with the outstanding work they deliver within our businesses.

“At the heart of our culture and values as a group is doing the right thing, and this certainly extends to how we care for our teams and the opportunities we pave out for them to establish successful careers within our businesses.”
