Colleagues across NRL’s recruitment business are celebrating after their compliance-led approach earned them a trophy at the TALiNT International Annual Recruitment Awards 2021.
Reaching the finals of the PurePro sponsored Back Office Team of the Year, the judging panel was impressed with the way NRL had grown its expertise in heavily regulated industries, so crowned them the winners.
In particular, the judges praised the development of their NAECI compliance, payroll and project management services. Having worked with clients to manage the Engineering Construction Industry Association’s working agreement on several sites over the last 12 years, the Wigan-based team undertook a knowledge transfer initiative with colleagues in NRL’s Sunderland branch to create a training model to scale up delivery on multiple sites.
NRL Group Director, Greg Compton, said: “We’re extremely pleased to see our highly detailed approach to compliance recognised by the judging panel.
“Our Recruitment and Compliance teams across our branches, both in the UK and Internationally, work hard to ensure we’re always exceeding the expectations of our clients – so this award is a great testament to their dedication.
“In particular, it’s fantastic to see our NAECI services acknowledged as we continue to provide opportunities across our business for colleagues to progress their skills and knowledge in this complex topic.
“In 2020 more than any other year, we continued to deliver 100% NAECI compliance against the toughest of challenges as COVID-19 heavily impacted industry activity. The daily commitment from our team to overcome this, deserves high praise indeed.”
The award win follows NRL’s Recruitment business being named one of the Largest Engineering Staffing Firms in the United Kingdom by Staffing Industry Analysts and Best Engineering Contractor Recruitment Agency at The Contracting Awards 2019.
