Milsted Langdon has appointed 15 new trainee accountants who will join its accountancy and tax teams across its offices in Bath, Bristol, Taunton and Yeovil.
These recruits join the firm’s ever-expanding team of professionals across the South West.
Each of these trainees will now undertake professional qualifications and on-the-job training to learn more about how to service their clients’ unique requirements.
Simon Rowe, Chairman of Milsted Langdon, said: “We’re very pleased to have this year’s cohort of talented young individuals join our trainee programme, where we can support their ambitions and help their careers to thrive, and in-turn ensure that our clients continue to receive an exemplary service.”
Rachel Hotham, People Partner at Milsted Langdon, said: “This is an exciting time for our trainees where they will become equipped with the skills they need to learn and grow professionally, whilst gaining practical experience from our team of experts. Our trainee programme is key to sustainable growth and building the expertise that meet the needs of our clients.”
As part of the trainee programme, the new starters will be supported in studying for their professional ACA, AAT, ATT, ACCA, or CTA accountancy qualifications and will also benefit from a structured development programme focused on learning a broad range of skills.
Rachel added: “With a long and proud history of supporting trainee accountants, stretching back over three decades, Milsted Langdon is a great place to start and grow a career. Many of our senior team members started as trainees and over time have progressed to managers, directors and partners. The firm’s collaborative culture and emphasis on well-being is an integral part of nurturing the next generation of accountancy and tax professionals.”
