Lendology CIC has been shortlisted as a finalist for Alternative Lender of the Year at the 2025 Credit Strategy Awards — a category that recognises financial organisations breaking the mould and delivering genuine, people-first finance to communities.
The recognition celebrates their unique lending model, which puts social impact before profit, delivering affordable, accessible loans to homeowners across the UK through partnerships with local councils.
From home repairs and disability adaptations to renewable energy upgrades and energy efficiency measures, our loans help people improve their homes, finances, and lives — responsibly.
Emma Lower (pictured), CEO of Lendology CIC, said: “Being recognised as a finalist means so much to our team, our customers, and our partners. It highlights that finance can be done differently, with people at its heart. This shortlisting is a testament to the hardworking, values-led team at Lendology and the trusting partnerships we’ve built with councils across the UK.”
In the past year alone, Lendology has delivered over £3.6 million in responsible lending, supported more than 400 homeowners, and expanded partnerships with new councils, increasing access to fair finance for communities often left behind by mainstream lenders.
As the UK continues its drive towards net zero and tackles challenges around energy comsumption and housing quality, Lendology’s lending model offers a proven, scalable solution. We believe that finance should be a force for good, and this recognition from the Credit Strategy Awards shows that alternative, people-first lending has an important role to play.
The awards ceremony takes place on July 3 in Newport.
