Get the kettle on to support the Dorset and Somerset Air Ambulance

Dorset and Somerset Air Ambulance is excited to announce the return of its favourite self-led fundraising event, Brew for the Crew. This initiative offers a fun, easy and inclusive way for people to show their support – whether at home, in the workplace, or out in the community.

This year the air ambulance’s Brew for the Crew is extra special, as the charity marks an incredible 25 years of saving lives across Dorset and Somerset.

Taking part is easy and free. Whether it’s hosting a coffee morning, an afternoon tea, or simply gather for a cuppa and chat, every penny raised helps keep the crew flying and saving lives.

Register online to receive a special downloadable Brew for the Crew fundraising pack containing everything needed to make the event a success. It also includes top tips and tricks as well as useful items such as printable bunting, recipe cards and cake toppers.

As the charity celebrates 25 years of serving the community, they also look to the future. Operational for 19 hours every day of the year, their work is often the difference between life and death. With every mission funded by supporters, taking part in initiatives like Brew for the Crew are an essential part of ensuring the charity can continue its life saving work for years to come.

Kate Wilson, Community Fundraising Manager at Dorset and Somerset Air Ambulance, said: “Brew for the Crew events play a crucial role in our fundraising efforts by creating strong relationships, bringing loved ones together, and creating enjoyable experiences.

“Who doesn’t love a cuppa and a piece of cake (or two!) These gatherings are essential for supporting our life-saving mission.”
