Somerset businesses looking to start up, scale up or just stay ahead of their competitors are being reminded they can apply for loans of between £25,000 and £2 million from the South West Investment Fund.
The £200 million fund is specifically to support small businesses and to drive economic growth through innovation and by creating local opportunities.
It covers the whole of the South West and provides funds to firms that might otherwise not receive investment and also helps to break down barriers in access to finance.
SWIG Finance has been appointed as the fund manager for smaller loans of between £25,000 and £100,000 across the South West.
The fund also offers equity investment up to £5m to help a range of small and medium sized businesses.
