Sir Robert McAlpine will be hosting a meet the buyer event for companies which want to be part of the UK’s largest gigafactory project.
Global battery business Agratas is building the state-of-the-art battery cell manufacturing facility near Bridgwater.
Working with Sir Robert McAlpine to construct the gigafactory, NG Bailey and T Clarke have been named as the two contractors to lead the procurement, installation, and commission of mechanical, electrical and plumbing (MEP) equipment at the site.
The firms are keen to hear from MEP suppliers and are encouraging them to register an interest to attend the meet the buyer event and learn more about the project.
The event will be held on Tuesday, March 4, at The Canalside, in Bridgwater, from 9.30am to 4pm.
To express an interest, prospective attendees will need to complete an online form. Sir Robert McAlpine will then contact successful attendees directly to formally invite them to attend the meet the buyer event.
