Everys Solicitors has joined this year’s St Margaret’s Hospice £50 Challenge, a fundraising initiative that encourages teams to start with £50 and spend 50 days growing the amount to raise as much money as possible for the Somerset charity.
The challenge launched on September 1 and Everys’ fundraising team is already planning a range of activities designed to bring people together while supporting the work of St Margaret’s Hospice.
The firm said it chose to take part because hospice care affects many families during some of the most challenging periods of their lives. St Margaret’s Hospice provides care, comfort and support to people across Somerset and surrounding areas.
As part of its fundraising efforts, Everys Solicitors will host a drop in coffee morning at its newly renovated Taunton office on September 30 from 11am to 2pm.
The event will be open to clients, colleagues, local businesses, friends and members of the public, who are invited to enjoy refreshments, meet the team and view the firm’s refurbished office.
A spokesperson for Everys Solicitors said: “We are proud to support St Margaret’s Hospice through the £50 Challenge. The hospice provides invaluable care and support to people and families across the region and we are pleased to play our part in helping raise funds for its important work.”
The spokesperson added that the coffee morning would provide an opportunity for the local community to come together while supporting the charity’s fundraising efforts.
Funds raised through the challenge will help St Margaret’s Hospice continue providing care and support to patients and their loved ones across Somerset.
The Everys Solicitors coffee morning will take place at 5 Heron Gate Office Park, Hankridge Way, Taunton, TA1 2LR. Donations of all sizes will be welcomed, with proceeds going towards the firm’s £50 Challenge fundraising total.
