Dorset and Somerset Air Ambulance is delighted to announce the appointment of Georgia Beard as their new Corporate and Relationships Officer.
Georgia joins the life-saving charity in a newly created role, which aims to enhance existing relationships with local businesses, while building new partnerships to drive engagement and support. Coming from a background in sales and marketing, Georgia has spent her previous years specialising in relationship management as well as business development roles.
She said: “Everyone has been so welcoming and it has been fantastic to learn more about the wonderful work that the charity provides. Having attended my first networking event this week, I can honestly say that I have never been so proud to work somewhere as I am now. I am utterly inspired, feel lucky to be part of such a great team and cannot wait to create corporate relationships that are special for everyone involved.”
Emma Jones, Dorset and Somerset Air Ambulance Fundraising Manager, added: “We are so happy to have Georgia on board; I know she will be making new contacts and building wonderful relationships across both the counties we serve. It’s an exciting time to be part of the charity and an even more exciting time to be building relationships which support the incredible work of our crew.”
