In a statement, the Taunton Community Team from Clarke Willmott, said: “It has been a pleasure working with Young Somerset over the past two years.
“Throughout our partnership, we have witnessed their genuine commitment to supporting young people across Somerset and the difference that their hard work makes. We feel incredibly proud to have worked with Young Somerset and to have raised £5,953.93. We look forward to seeing this money be used towards STAR.”
Fundraising activities included cake sales, raffles, pop-up shops, Christmas tree decorating competitions, sporting events, wellbeing days, and more, all helping to maximise involvement and impact.
Nik Harwood, CEO of Young Somerset, said: “Over the past two years, we have been absolutely delighted to partner with Clarke Willmott as their Charity of the Year. It has been a relationship we have truly valued, and we have been so pleased to see how Clarke Willmott has embraced Young Somerset, our team, and – most importantly – the young people we support.
“To receive such an incredible donation as a result of this partnership means the world to us. One hundred percent of this funding will go directly to the Young Somerset Opportunity Fund (STAR), helping Somerset’s young people overcome practical barriers to participating in youth activities.
