Applications are now open for Somerset Film’s popular BFI Film Club for 12-15 year olds in Minehead this October.
This British Film Institute (BFI) Film Club offers high-quality learning about film and wider screen media to aspiring young filmmakers. The Club is led by professional filmmakers and is a fantastic opportunity to learn new skills, develop creativity, and engage with the best of world cinema.
Participants will learn exciting skills such as scriptwriting, cinematography, lighting, video editing and acting. There will also be a screening of the final films for friends and family at the Regal Theatre in Minehead.
BFI film club is FREE thanks to funding from the BFI through National Lottery.

Dates: Saturday, October 22 and every day from Monday, October 24 to Saturday, October 29 (10am – 4pm), plus a screening on Saturday, November 5 at The Regal Theatre, Minehead.
