Beneath the night sky – a unique astronomy experience under the stars!

Arc is delighted to announce an exciting fundraising event, “Beneath the Night Sky,” on Saturday, November 16, at Somerset County Cricket Club. This one-of-a-kind experience, inspired by their fundraising theme of “sleeping out under the stars,” offers guests the chance to explore the wonders of the night sky while supporting a great cause.

This special evening will feature:

  • A three-course meal
  • A captivating presentation by a Fellow of the Royal Astronomical Society and ESERO UK Space Ambassador
  • Public stargazing with guidance from a team of expert astronomers
  • An astrophotography gallery showcasing breathtaking images of the cosmos

Arc is partnering with Jo Richardson, founder of Space Detectives, and her husband Pete Richardson, an award-winning astrophotographer and telescope maker.

Together with their team, they will take guests on an educational and inspiring journey through the cosmos. This is the first event of its kind in Taunton, making it a night to remember for all attendees.

Tickets are £45 per person and are available for purchase at the Taunton Visitor Centre, Nook & Cranny Wellington, or online at https://tktp.as/EJYWPP

All proceeds will support Arc’s continued efforts in providing life-changing services to those in need. Don’t miss out on this incredible night under the stars while giving back to the local homeless community!

For more information or to book tickets directly through Arc, please contact Sam Parr, Communications & Fundraising, at sparr@arcinspire.co.uk.

Arc also thanked event sponsors Barton Law, Neil Robertson Plumbing & Heating Ltd, Corza Medical, and Logic Distribution for their support.
