Amarin Rubber & Plastics is proud to be a new sponsor for Weston-super-Mare Cricket Club, and in particular the club’s youth programmes.
Sales Manager Alex Howells’ son Charlie (pictured), aged 10, has just completed his first season at the club in their Under 11s team and has seen, first hand, the work the club does to help the youngsters of Weston.
Alex said: “Since we first connected with the club back in February the work they have done with a wide range of children of all backgrounds, ages, genders and ethnicities to improve their cricket skills and forge their teamwork, as well as practicing what they preach in terms of inclusion and patience has been wonderful for Charlie, and all of the hundreds of children from five to 18 who practice at the club every week. We are very happy to support such a wonderful pillar of the local community”
Weston-super-Mare Cricket Club plays home games at the Devonshire Road Ground in Weston-super-Mare and has teams playing actively from Under 11s all the way up to the First XI in the Bristol and Somerset Premier Divisions.
