ADPR, a leading marine PR and marketing agency, has announced the launch of Marine Marketing Connections – a free networking initiative tailored specifically for in-house marketing professionals in the marine industry.
Marine Marketing Connections aims to build a professional and friendly community, designed to support marine marketing professionals within their role and help them to make the connections they need to grow their businesses in 2025 and beyond.
The group will meet online on the last Thursday of every month from 10-11am, providing a regular opportunity for attendees to connect, upskill and discuss some of the hot topics and challenges within the marine industry, as well as keeping up to date with the latest trends in PR and marketing. The first event will take place on Thursday, February 27.
The networking venture is being headed up by ADPR’s Joint Managing Directors, Kate O’Sullivan and Jenny Walford (pictured). With over 20 years’ experience in marine PR and marketing, Kate and Jenny have successfully delivered impactful campaigns for some of the biggest names in the industry, as well as strategically mentoring and coaching many brands and individuals on how to improve their marketing and business performance.
Kate O’Sullivan said: “In a tough global market, we’ve seen first-hand the challenges marine marketing professionals face from managing budget cuts and limited internal resource, to ever increasing workloads and no spare time to upskill in an increasingly fast paced environment.
“We have set up Marine Marketing Connections in response to a demand for marketing professionals to access the support, inspiration, and resources they need to excel – with no price tag!
“We understand the barriers to growth and know where the opportunities are. Put simply, we want to help strengthen our industry by providing this opportunity to connect, share knowledge, and grow together.”
Marine Marketing Connections is free to attend, but spaces are limited. Visit www.adpr.co.uk/events-and-workshops. for more information.
