Business in Somerset can receive free, specialist support by joining the Somerset Innovation Network, which is run by Business West and funded by the European Regional Development Fund (ERDF) and Somerset Council.
The network looks to bring together three innovation centres in Somerset including iAero, in Yeovil, the Digital Innovation Centre, in Taunton (currently under construction) and Somerset Energy Innovation Centre, in Bridgwater.
Jane Purdy, head of enterprise at Business West and project manager, said: “Businesses will benefit from support across a wide range of relevant topics, from digital marketing, market strategy and finance, to business structure, collaboration and investor readiness.
“It’s a great chance for businesses in the Somerset area to build relationships with each other, collaborate on new and exciting projects and access support which can help their company flourish.
“Our advisors are highly experienced and can also connect businesses with relevant contacts.”
Business West is working with a number of partners on the Somerset Innovation Network including West of England Aerospace Forum (WEAF), Techspark, SetSquared Exeter, Digital Somerset, Yeovil Innovation Centre, Yeovil College and enterprise centres in Somerset.
