Call for businesses to sign-up to take part in Somerset Skills and Careers Fair

The Somerset Education Business Partnership (SEBP)  is calling for businesses to take part in this year’s Somerset Skills and Careers Fair to help inspire young people about great local careers and showcase their options for future work or study.

The fair will take place at Westlands Entertainment Venue, Yeovil, on Wednesday, October 2, from 9am to 4pm. It will be a great opportunity for Somerset’s employers to reach out to their future talent pool and encourage young people into their industry.

The SEBP is encouraging businesses to sign-up as an exhibitor to highlight career paths in their industry, discuss the skills and attitudes they look for in employees and design interactive stands to help learners test their workplace skills.

Included in the exhibitor package is:

• Exhibitor space within the main hall to include space for your exhibition stand, a standard trestle table and two chairs
• Free tea and coffee throughout the day for two people
• Full exhibitor listing on the Somerset EBP website from the date of booking
• Promotion across Somerset EBP social channels and newsletters from the date of booking
• Digital assets to promote your presence at the fair from the date of booking
• Plus the opportunity to engage with young people and inspire them about your industry
