Street and Glastonbury Chambers of Commerce have merged to expand networking opportunities and increase efficiency for local businesses.
The decision to merge was driven by multiple factors, primarily the strong links and unity between the two communities.
The new-look chamber will also expand networking opportunities across a broader audience, benefiting businesses in both areas.
Already, the past nine months have seen successful joint events, reinforcing the positive impact of the collaboration and enabling local businesses to thrive.
Laura Wolfers (pictured) is the newly elected Chair and has extensive experience running local businesses as well as being a local councillor.
She said: “We are running a series of different networking events over the coming months from business tours, to informal networking meetings to Netwalks.
“We also hold bi-annual jobs fairs as well as retail focus groups. Membership is free and if you would like to find out more please contact us by emailing hello@sgchambers.co.uk.”
