Reminiscence Learning is a registered charity based in Wellington, Somerset.
We specialise in dementia, reminiscence, activities and life story work.
We deliver training for health care professionals, family carers, volunteers, businesses and services – from short toolbox talks, to one day workshops and longer accredited training.
We also offer a wide range of community projects for the older person, those with dementia and their carers and those who may feel lonely and isolated in their community – from music and memories with live performances from local musicians to talking and sharing making use of our extensive library of props and memorabilia. Our Activity Angels visit local care homes and day centres and deliver bespoke activity sessions to suit
We created and deliver the multi award winning intergenerational dementia awareness Archie Project which links primary schools, care homes, sheltered housing schemes, businesses/ services and community members to ultimately reduce the fear and stigma associated with dementia and create more dementia friendly communities.
