Grief Specialists is a Community Interest Company dedicated to providing immediate access to grief support to anyone dealing with loss. We believe people should be able to get the help they need when they need it without dealing with long waiting lists. As we grow, we’re raising funds to pay for professional help for those who need it.

We’re inviting businesses to support us in exchange for grief guidance and training. Most people will experience the death of someone they know at some point during their working lives. In the last twelve months, 24% of working-age people, which equates to 7.9 million employees, have experienced a bereavement. We are able to support business leaders, HR departments and managers with how to ensure colleagues feel taken care of. Grief can impact productivity, mental wellbeing, concentration, physical health, and more. According to recent research, only 30% of employees say the leadership of their organisation has communicated with them about grief or bereavement in the past year, and only 32% of employees are aware that their employer has a bereavement policy. By working together, we can ensure that your employees are left feeling taken care of.

We also work with other community groups, charities, health providers, and organsiations by offering grief cafes, talks, and workshops across Somerset.
