Founded by award-winning entrepreneur Andrew Scott, Ascot Group is a leading UK marketing agency specialising in the construction, building products, home improvement, property, and sustainability sectors. Combining more than 20 years of industry expertise with advanced marketing, data, technology, and media solutions, the Group operates from its state-of-the-art headquarters near Bristol and employs over 80 professionals.

The business began in 2004 with the launch of Purplex, Andrew Scott’s marketing consultancy, founded with the ambition of building a world-class organisation. By 2007, the company had established its first office and appointed its first employee, marking the start of a sustained period of growth.

Over the following two decades, Ascot Group has developed into a multi-million-pound organisation with a diverse portfolio spanning marketing, CRM software, tech, business data, media and events. Its structure was formalised in 2012 with the incorporation of Ascot Group (Holdings) Ltd as the parent company. Purplex, Insight Data, Ascot Property and Knightstone Property remain privately owned and family-run, operating from its headquarters.

In 2023, a strategic review led to the sale of its media and events interests, including the sale of Business Leader Ltd to entrepreneur Richard Harpin, founder of HomeServe plc and Growth Partner, and the sale of its conference business to the Mark Allen Group.

These changes have enabled Ascot Group to sharpen its strategic focus on its core mission: helping companies achieve growth within the construction, building products, home improvement, property, and low-carbon sectors.
