Arc are a local homeless charitable organisation, supporting over 350 people per year. Our mission is to end rough sleeping in the South West, through housing, assisting, supporting and empowering homeless people in Somerset.

Formerly known as Taunton Association for the Homeless, we have been in existence for more than 45 years, now with 17 properties housing 170 people. As well as providing accommodation, Arc aims to ensure no-one has to spend more than one night homeless, with our Outreach Team working hard to support rough sleepers, getting them into accommodation as quickly as possible.

Arc understand that it is not just about having a roof over your head, and so we help our clients on a road to recovery, inspiring and assisting them to move forwards through a positive journey to independence.

Our services include a 40-bed hostel providing 24hr support, Victory House our specialised accommodation for homeless veterans, personalised 1 to 1 support from our Pathway Workers and our Reach Centre with it’s in-house GP surgery and health and wellbeing hub. There is also the opportunity for clients to join Crescent Cleaning Services our Social Enterprise, which provides a accessible and supportive route back into employment.

At a time of need when many feel helpless, we are there to support them on the next step of their journey.
