Somerset marketing professionals forum - October 2025

Somerset Chamber of Commerce is inviting members and non-members to attend our specialist forum, exclusively for marketing and communication professionals.

In an ever-changing business and consumer landscape, finding effective ways to reach our target audience to maintain our competitive advantage is key to engaging with customers and to growing our organisations.

We are gathering leaders of in-house marketing teams together at Somerset County Cricket Club, in Taunton, to discuss key challenges and opportunities ahead for marketing professionals in our region.

This roundtable is specifically for those who lead in-house marketing functions in businesses – marketing managers, heads of marketing, marketing and comms directors and decision makers on behalf of businesses in our region. This forum is aimed at in-house marketing leaders only and attendance criteria applies (see below)*.

Chaired by Robin Clempson, Director of Marketing at Albert Goodman, the purpose of this event is to build connections with like-minded professionals from a variety of businesses, share your business challenges, discuss any common growing pains and speak openly on issues affecting your business and seek solutions from other delegates. All discussions will be held in full confidence.

We will be joined by Ben Warren (pictured), Head of Marketing and Digital at Somerset County Cricket Club, who will share insights of his team's award-winning marketing and digital work with attendees.

There will be opportunities to network both before and after the discussions, however, this is not just a networking event. It’s an opportunity to share best practice and find solutions.

*Please ensure you review the eligibility criteria listed in the terms and conditions below before booking.*

Refreshments will be provided. Please inform us when booking if you have any dietary requirements or allergies.

Bookings for this event will close 4pm on Wednesday, October 1. Please note refunds cannot be made in the event of cancellation after bookings have closed.

Free car parking is available on site but delegates must input their vehicle registration details on the iPad inside the building within 15 minutes of arrival or a parking ticket will be issued by a third party which controls the facility on behalf of the cricket club. Neither the club or the Chamber is able to override parking tickets.

With thanks to our event sponsor Teapot Creative.

Somerset Chamber looks forward to welcoming marketing professionals to the forum.
