Somerset Chamber of Commerce AGM 2026

The Board of Directors of Somerset Chamber of Commerce formally invites members to attend the 2026 Annual General Meeting.

Join fellow Chamber members and the Chamber team for an evening of networking, reflection and discussion as we look back on another busy year supporting Somerset businesses and share our plans for the months ahead.

Attendees will receive an update on the Chamber's performance and activity over the past 12 months, including highlights from our events programme, progress across key projects and partnerships, developments within the Hinkley supply chain, and the impact the Chamber continues to make on behalf of the business community.

The AGM agenda will include:

  • Presentation and approval of the annual accounts to March 31, 2026
  • A review of Chamber activity and achievements over the past year
  • An update on priorities and plans for the year ahead

Alongside the formal AGM proceedings, attendees will hear from members of the Chamber Board during a fireside chat exploring the opportunities, challenges and trends shaping Somerset's economy.

The discussion will feature:

  • David Crew – Managing Director, Somerset Chamber of Commerce
  • Joe Routledge – Chair of the Chamber Board and Finance Director, Sycamore Process Engineering Ltd
  • Rosie Wicks – Vice Chair of the Chamber Board and Founder and Managing Director, Blossom HR
  • Mike Cahill – Finance Director of the Chamber Board and Partner, Albert Goodman LLP

This interactive session will provide a chance to hear directly from Chamber leaders, gain insight into the organisation's strategic direction and ask questions about the issues that matter most to your business.

Over the past year, the Chamber has continued to evolve, expand its support for members and strengthen its voice on behalf of Somerset businesses. We look forward to sharing the progress made, celebrating key successes and outlining the opportunities ahead.

Tea, coffee and refreshments will be provided.

Bookings for this event close at 4pm on November 18.
