About the Speaker
Lord Michael Barber is widely recognised as a global authority on effective leadership and delivery. He is the Founder and Chair Emeritus of Delivery Associates and has advised governments and leaders around the world on achieving ambitious outcomes. 

He previously served as Chief Adviser on School Standards and established the Prime Minister’s Delivery Unit at 10 Downing Street serving under Tony Blair from 2001-2005, driving delivery across key public services including health, education, and transport. He has also held senior positions including Chair of the Office for Students, Chair of Somerset County Cricket Club and is currently Chancellor of the University of Exeter.

Sir Michael is also a best-selling author, most recently publishing Accomplishment: How Ambitious and Challenging Things Get Done, and currently serves as Adviser to the UK Prime Minister on Effective Delivery.
