Construction Connections is a popular construction-specific networking group for construction and property industry professionals. It is an opportunity for like-minded individuals to enjoy some relaxed networking over breakfast rolls with tea and coffee. 
  Join us on Wednesday 23 September, where we will be joined by CEO Aidan Clegg of the West Somerset Tidal Lagoon. Discover more about this project, a proposed tidal range power project set to harness the exceptional tidal forces of the British Channel to generate clean, reliable and affordable energy. The project represents a major opportunity for innovation, investment and regional growth, with the potential to deliver long-term, low carbon energy while supporting jobs and economic development across Somerset. We will also be joined by Local industry construction leader, Liz Bennett, Director of safety in Design, Liz will share details on the fatal accident working group, a local initiative of experts from the medical front line, legal world and insurance advisory, looking to better prepare leaders in construction. 

We are also delighted that this event will be sponsored by Safety in Design.

Those who supply construction-specific products and/or services for the construction industry are eligible to attend. Construction Connections is an inclusive event aimed at sharing good practice and making valuable connections (rather than overtly selling), supporting Somerset’s construction industry to thrive. Construction supplier attendees are respectfully asked to consider this ethos at Construction Connections.
