Breakfast with Somerset Council sponsored by Amicus Law

Join us for an informative breakfast event with the leadership at Somerset Council. This event is a fantastic opportunity to be make business connections and hear updates regarding future devolution plans for our region.

The first breakfast of the year is in partnership with Somerset Council and sponsored by Amicus Law. Our let's network events are a great way to get out and meet new people. It is also a great opportunity to meet contacts face-to-face while enjoying a delicious cooked breakfast!

It's an exciting time to be in Somerset with major investment taking place creating supply chain opportunities. In addition, the government are looking at further devolution of decision-making following the release of the English Devolution White Paper (December, 2024).

We will be joined by the leadership at Somerset Council who will provide an update on what this means for Somerset, and how our region will benefit from being part of a mayoral combined authority alongside neighbouring counties.

With thanks to our event sponsors Amicus Law.

Prior to the update from Somerset Council, guests are able to enjoy some informal networking over a delicious cooked breakfast. Providing guests with the opportunity to hear from others, learn about their businesses, highlight their own companies and organisations and make meaningful connections.

If you are looking to meet like-minded professionals and raise the profile of your business then this exciting face-to-face event is for you!

The event will be held at Haynes Motor Museum and we are also excited to offer a snapshot guided tour of the museum after the event, led by one of the team of volunteers. The tour will include an introduction on the museum itself and its history – from its conception in 1985 by John Haynes MBE, to today’s car collection which stands close to 400 vehicles. Tour highlights include the Austin 750, the car that inspired John Haynes to create the very first Haynes Manual and the famous Red Room. An area packed with impressive, crimson-coloured motors!
